Peng’s Chrismukkuh 2012 desktop screenshots

With Christmas a few days away I realized I hadn’t made screenshots of my desktop for the Chrismukkuh season this year. Here’s what my laptop’s desktop looks like this year. As always, click on the picture to see the full size image.

Here are the details on my system:

• Linux Mint Debian Edition KDE with Update Pack 6 (watching the LMDE Latest repos, which gets updates a little sooner than the Update Packs themselves)
• KDE 4.8.4
• The wallpaper is the Christmas card I got from Zombie Attack Kitty on Facebook. If you like felines and you’re on the Big Face you really need to follow them.
• Custom desktop theme based on the CathbardDebianRed theme
• Custom Bespin window decorations
• Custom KDE4 color theme
• OxyXmas icon theme
• Mint Spirit No 2 fonts for most of the desktop, with Liberation Mono for the terminal

I Hope everyone has a safe and happy holiday season, with all the gifts you’re hoping for showing up under your seasonal foliage, and that the new year starts off even better than 2012 was. If your 2012 was half as bad as mine was I hope this fun song by the Rescues is as prophetic for you as I hope it is for mine. It’s become my favorite Chrismukkuh 2012 song, and for good reason.

I found that song on the Paste Holiday Sampler 2012 on NoiseTrade. All the music on NoiseTrade is free, although you’re asked to tip the artists if you like them. You will need to download the album from a regular computer, not your smartphone, because it will come in a ZIP file that you’ll need to extract.
